Appointments via telehealth are held via secure online platforms via video or, in some cases, phone consultations. This allows the delivery of psychological services to be more flexible and easily accessible. Telehealth appointments can be arranged at a time convenient to you and also allow you to access therapy from a location in which you are most comfortable in, such as your home or workplace. Gabriele is an experienced telehealth provider.
Telehealth/Video: You will receive a secure video platform link prior to your sessions to facilitate virtual consultations. The link will connect you with the client portal provided by PowerDiary. There is no software to download, the link opens in a browser and can be accessed on a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
Phone Consultations: Phone consultations are available if preferred
During our first session, Gabriele will explore with you the circumstances and experiences that brought you to therapy at this time, get to know you and better understand your current mental health challenges. You have the opportunity to discuss any hopes or concerns you may have about therapy. We will use this time to build a therapeutic relationship that allows you to feel safe and supported by your psychologist. Any specific or broad goals you may wish to address in therapy can be established.
No, you do not need a referral to book a session with a psychologist. You may book a private session by contacting us. However, with a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP or psychiatrist you may be eligible for a rebate from Medicare.
A Mental Health Treatment Plan may be set up collaboratively with your GP /psychiatrist to address the mental health challenges you encounter. A GP/psychiatrist can then refer you to a psychologist for an initial 6 sessions, which can be extended to a total of 10 sessions per calendar year under the Federal Government's Better Access Initiative. NEW CLIENTS Upon receipt of a referral Gabriele will contact you. Clients without a referral are encouraged to make first contact via email /call or by using the contact form on this website. During the initial phone call/contact we may briefly discuss your needs, answer any questions and ensure Gabriele is a good fit for you as a therapist.
EXISTING CLIENTS can manage bookings by contacting us via SMS, call or email. We will return your call during business hours. A reminder SMS is sent out prior o your next appointment which allows you to confirm 'Yes' or cancel 'No' .

Fee for a standard (50-60 minute ) consultation is $195.-
Fees are payable at the time of consultation/or within 24 hours to the clinic's account. Invoices/Statements will be issued. Fee payment can be made via bank-transfer or direct debit (preferred payment option) from your bank account or via nominated credit or debit card (card transaction fees to be covered by clients).
Fees payable by other referrers such as Work-Cover/TAC/DVA/NDIS are settled directly with the organisation by the clinic.
Organising fee refunds from private health insurers are the client's responsibility.
If a Medicare rebate is applicable, the rebate will be automatically processed by the clinic upon payment of the consultation fee following your session. Current Medicare rebate is set at $98.95 per session/consultation.
Alternate fees apply for different services.
To protect the security of your payment authorisation details, Two Gather Psychology uses Stripe and the PCI data security standards.
Cancellations can be made via phone, SMS or email.
We appreciate cancellations/rescheduling at your earliest convenience as this maximises our availability to clients. Please note cancellation fees policy below for late cancellations and 'non- attendance'.
Definitions
Cancellation is considered an appointment cancelled when notice of cancellation is given more than 24 hours prior to the appointment.
Late Cancellation is considered an appointment cancelled when notice of cancellation is given within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
No-Show is considered an appointment that has not been cancelled and the client did not show up to the appointment.
Late cancellations/rescheduling (within 24 hours of appointment time scheduled ) and no shows incur a cancellation fee of $100 - payable by the client prior to the next appointment. (Rebates do not apply)
